Labor day weekend we went to the local art fair. Julien was nervous at first. He thought it was going to be like the medieval fair and people would be in costume dress. In other words, he thought it would be scary! (funny that dressing up is his favorite thing, but seeing adults dressed up is scary.) Instead, he had a wonderful time. He had his face painted as a power ranger, and he got a balloon and an ice cream. What could be better. My friend Susan had a booth selling Maiolica pottery. Her son, Marco, was born on the same day as Julien. Unfortunately, she is moving to Scottland!
