The last soccer game

After Julien's long day at school on the 30th, he had his last soccer game. Cutters held a Jamboree, which was a bit of a madhouse. They had four 15 minute games. A bit confusing for people of any age, let alone 5 and 6 year olds! Julien's team had a fabulous time, but were generally more interested in wrestling, tackling, spinning, piling, and falling. His team has really bonded well, but they are not the best team. Nor is his coach the best coach. She has missed several games and been late to many others including this last game. Although scores are not officially kept, it was clear that they lost every game. Honestly, the kids didn't mind much and had a great time, so that was all that mattered. I could tell Julien's head was not in the game. It didn't help that his buddy, Jun, was more concentrated on getting the ball away from Julien then getting the ball away from the other team!
