Visiting the Shedd

This last weekend we visited Bill and Jan in Chicago. On Friday we went to the Shedd Aquarium. It was great. We particularly loved the new Wild Reef area with the sharks, saw fish, rays etc. Sebastian announced that the sharks were furious, and was a bit nervous about them.

Julien loved the dolphin chat which ended with three dolphins jumping together. When we were eating lunch he gave me a big grin and stated, "I love summer! We get to travel and see cool things like this!"

I discovered that I particularly enjoy the rays (they look so graceful when they swim) and the turtles. I am not sure why I like the turtles so well but Richard says he has noticed that I am filled with glee every time I see one in the wild.

Julien was very happy to get a new stuffed animal, Turtley.
