Zoo

We spent all day last Saturday at the zoo. It was very fun. They have a new shark exhibit where you can pet a shark. Everyone but Sebastian did, indeed, pet a shark. We also went to all of Julien's favorites, the snakes the African animals and the lorikeets. Julien went on a roller coaster for the first time! Very exciting. At the end of the day we went to a Birds of Prey show. It was really cool. We saw owls, hawks and falcons. One flew so close to our heads we ducked.

Staci's Shower

A couple of weekends ago we went to a baby shower for Julien's favorite teacher, Staci. She's due in early July.

Amy, Alex, Cici and Simone

A couple weekends ago we had Amy, Alex, Cici and Simone over for a barbeque. The kids had a wildly good time.

First Steps

Last night Sebastian was in a free stand playing his harmonica, rocking back and forth, when he took two steps into the vast open space before falling. It was very exciting. Julien jumped up and down and cheered!

Sebastian was almost walking when Bill and Jan were in town. Jan worked hard at encouraging him.

Hot and Dusty

On Saturday we went to Julien's t-ball game. It was very hot and dusty. Julien enjoyed creating dust when he ran. He was particularly wound up, perhaps because Bill and Jan were in town. It was also picture day.
