McCormick's Creek State Park

This last weekend we went for a hike in McCormick's Creek State Park. It was beautiful; lots of birds, frogs, wild flowers, etc. At one point I sat down on a log to nurse Sebastian and realised I was surrounded by stinging nettles! Luckily Sebastian was not effected. It freaked Julien out, however. He was much relieved when we got up higher and there were no more nettles. I have to say, it really stung!

Jewelweed

is an effective antidote against nettles.

Great to (virtually) see you!
