The conference was organized by Bill's graduate student's over the years. It was in part focused on Bill's recent book "Logics of History." A lot of his students traveled to the event, including a student from Korea and another from Japan. Even his very first graduate student attended. Some of the students I remember from various parts of my life, including people from Ann Arbor and even an old babysitter of mine. It was good to see everyone. The kids came in a few times, very briefly. For the ending statements Julien, Benjamin and Sebastian were in the lobby outside the main event. You could hear them running back and forth.
